Standing still...

Have you ever felt like your life is spinning 100mph, but at the same time you feel like you are getting no where?!

Since seeing the specialist we have not spoke to a doctor, took any meds, timed our intercourse, or of course...become pregnant! To be honest, the hubs & I have not even talked about the infertility, or what we are (waiting) doing next. Maybe thats just because we have NO idea what to do....

1) Continue what we are doing....
This is hard, but easy at the same time. Without all the appointments, trips to the pharmacy, calls to the dr's office, or planning our BD....we have time to be "normal," we have time to be the married couple that we are supposed to be.

2) IVF/IUI/Injections....
More Drs, LOTS of $$$, not a definate that it will work, & the pain of dealing with failed attempts or the chance of another m/c or ectopic scares the living H*L* out of me! (insert scream)

3) Foster Care/Foster Adoption....
Oh how I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do this...but....my hubs not so much. He swears that he will not be able to care for someone so sweet & innocent, & then "give" them back to their birth parents. Yes, it will be hard, I wont deny that...but my friend "Mudslide" put it into perspective for me last night. "No matter what, not having kids sucks...but why not have other kids while it is sucking!" *sigh* VERY good point there, my friend. This is DEF something we need to sit down & talk about some more. <3

4) Outright ADOPTION....
SCARY! LOTS & LOTS of $$$ & not ever guaranteed to have your dream come true....or it could take YEARS!

5)Accept.....
Accept that we may never be parents! (seriously makes me want to vomit)

We have lots of thinking & talking to do yet....just wish the answers were thrown right into my face. I am just going to continue to pray that God blesses us, or atleast gives us some answers.

Until next time....here are a few pictures of what has been going on in my world.....

  2. Hoping that you guys are able to come to some decision that is right for both of you. It is always so difficult but I think sometimes the right decision smacks you in the face when you least expect it. Yay for fair and fair food! I sadly haven't been to the tractor pulls in forever but maybe the next fair.
